Adopt A School Program

Serving Title 1 Public Schools

The Adopt-A-School Program identifies Title 1 schools in disadvantaged communities where kids may face greater exposure to gangs, drugs, and criminal activity.

This program encourages high school students with any chess skill level, to adopt an elementary school chess club and help the teacher to plan lessons and teach chess.

It is a wonderful way for students to give back to a chess club program that supported them and introduced them to the game of chess.
