HI, I am James Gray, Founder and President of ROOKS Chess Cafe Inc. I am excited to extend the warmest of welcomes to our ROOKS family.
We are bringing a new kind of chess to the public—one that is modern, visible, and exciting—while preserving the tradition and life-changing lessons the game offers.
Our non-profit mission is to use the power of chess as a catalyst for life-long learning and personal growth, we can strengthen our communities, one square at a time.
100% of ROOKS nonprofit net proceeds fund our educational mandates, including strategy workshops for youth, cognitive health programs for seniors, and scholarship memberships for underserved families.
ROOKS is building our online and social media presence showcasing the vibe while bringing the community together.
We seek influencer partnerships with chess and chess related personalities .
